Indoor trampoline park BOUNCE has hit the capital and opened its doors in Abu Dhabi this week!

It’s located at Marina Mall and, in addition to a park of interconnected trampolines, it will feature a range of activities, starting with a huge 40-metre slide and three new slacklines. They have also created a ZIP line that dares all you adrenaline junkies to take a leap of faith and ‘fly’ over the park, as well as a freefall experience called the quick drop. Two dodgeball courts and two giant air bags will also feature, which is just as well because you’re never too old to enjoy a good game of dodgeball.

There’s a brand new fitness club in Dubai Marina called DEFINE Dubai and it offers barre, cycle and yoga-infused workouts.

Body is a barre class which is a combination of yoga, ballet and Pilates, Revolution is a cycling class on a stationary bike and the Mind class is a hammock-focused session that’s all about building flexibility and relaxing the mind.

The studio is located in Silverene Tower B, directly across from Pier 7 and adjacent to the Marina Mall. Parking is best at the mall.

Get in touch with the studio via their FitnessLink profile.

1SIX8 group classes have been housed in The Warehouse Gym for some time, and pretty soon (the exact opening date hasn’t been announced yet) they’re due to open their own standalone studio in what was previously the Evolve gym in Jumeirah 1.

Their high-energy “BURN” class is a 45-minute HIIT group training workout consisting of a combination of running, TRX, rowing and bodyweight/resistance training exercises. The trainers use treadmills and rowing machines in their interval-based cardio workouts, which are mixed with strength exercises using the TRX Suspension Trainer and dumbbells.

They also have some other class concepts up their sleeve which they’ll be launching sometime soon.

Check them out at www.1six8.net.
